These Terms of Service govern your use of the MyopiaClarity platform. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
1. About MyopiaClarity
MyopiaClarity is an educational myopia intelligence platform operated by Aw Wei Cong, an OOB-registered optometrist (Registration No. OOB-E2200029I), Singapore. We provide personalised myopia reports, age-18 prescription projections, and related educational tools to parents of myopic children.
Important — educational platform, not a clinical service. All content, reports, projections, and outputs generated by MyopiaClarity are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a registered optometrist or ophthalmologist for clinical decisions regarding your child's eye health.
The OOB credential of the platform operator (OOB-E2200029I) is displayed for transparency and to establish clinical competency in the educational content produced. It does not establish a clinical relationship between MyopiaClarity and users.

- Be the parent or legal guardian of the child whose data you are entering

6. Prescription Data Accuracy
The accuracy of all reports depends entirely on the prescription data you enter. You are responsible for ensuring data is entered correctly from your child's clinical prescription records.
MyopiaClarity does not verify prescription data. Errors in data entry will produce inaccurate projections. Always cross-reference reports with your child's clinical records and the judgment of your registered optometrist.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the MyopiaClarity platform — including the projection engine methodology, report templates, written content, visual design, and software — is the intellectual property of MyopiaClarity and is protected under Singapore copyright law.
Reports generated for your child's profile are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share them with your child's optometrist or ophthalmologist. You may not reproduce, publish, or distribute them commercially without written permission.
The published research data underlying our projection engine (SCORM, IMI 2025, LAMP study) remains the intellectual property of the respective research bodies.
8. Disclaimer of Medical Advice
MyopiaClarity is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Reports, projections, and AI navigator responses are generated for educational purposes based on published population-level research data. They are not a substitute for professional clinical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Never delay seeking clinical care on the basis of information from this platform.
The Progress Letter issued annually is an educational summary document signed by an OOB-registered optometrist for informational purposes. It is not a clinical report, not a prescription, and does not establish a clinical relationship.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, MyopiaClarity and its operator shall not be liable for:
- Any clinical decisions made on the basis of reports or projections generated by the platform
- Inaccuracies in projections arising from incorrect prescription data entered by the user
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage
- Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Interruption of service due to maintenance, technical failures, or third-party outages
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to MyopiaClarity in the 12 months preceding the claim.
